How Much Will It Cost?

This is usually the first question people have when researching photographers online – so I’ll get straight to the point… Packages start at $2500 for 6 hours coverage.  If you aren’t keen on an album most people find that the basic package is enough and they don’t need to add anything to it.

How Long Will My Photos Take To Arrive?

If you get married in the busy months (September – March) your photos can take up to 4 weeks, in the quieter months, a little less.

On My Wedding Day, How Long Will We Need For Photos?

Every wedding is different, if you have only one attendant each and wish to stay onsite at your venue for photos then anywhere from 45 mins can be enough – obviously if you have a favourite garden/avenue/vineyard that you would like to be photographed in then the time taken to get there has to be factored in.  If you have five bridesmaids and five groomsmen it can take considerable longer… I prefer not to leave your wedding guests for too long when taking photos, 2–2 ½  hours is more than enough – and you don’t want to be missing out on your party for any longer than that anyway!

We Would Like Photos Of Both The Bridal And Groom Preparations – Is This Possible?

Yes, as long as you are both within a reasonable driving distance from one another. I like to spend at about 2 hours with the girls when they are getting ready – this is where most of the detail shots and also the portraits are taken and I will head to the ceremony venue just ahead of them … If you are keen for shots of the boys getting ready I will usually go to them first and get a few shots of them doing whatever they are doing – having a few beers and a bit of golf/clay bird shooting/pool whatever.  It’s usually a little early in the day for them to be getting dressed so I can get detail shots of the suits and buttonholes etc.  A few grooms are OK with ‘pretending’ to put on their shirt and tie so I can get a few shots of them dressing.

We Have Been Having Dance Lessons – Can You Stay Throughout Dinner Until The First Dance?

Absolutely – this does incur an extra charge, although you do end up with quite a few more photos too.  All of the speeches will be covered and also the cutting of the cake.

I will get a few (hilarious) dancing shots of you and your guests and then sneak away when things really start ramping up!
